Artfire collection - with my pendant!

Guess what! I was just checking my inbox on Artfire, and noticed that I have an unread message I completely overlooked in the last two weeks or so. 

Anyway, the message cheered me up immediately:

I was included in this fantastic collection on Artfire!

Well, to be more precise, my Gothic style Asteria pendant was included, not me as I'm not selling myself...

Facebook Fever

Yeah, it reached me too. I tried to resist but I lost... 

To be honest, I've seen that people around me use FB to make their PERSONAL life completely open to anybody. It was just too weird for me. Worse than a blog. No Privacy any more in your life. 

Than it hit me: there are thousands of beaders out there and how great it would be to know what they are up to! So now what my personal profile used to be is an FDEkszer beading fan profile. I keep connecting friends from all over the planet and feels so good to find like minded and check out their fantastic beadwork!

Now in the mean time - even if I seemed to be very quiet - we are working very hard to get all the patterns available to our customers on all the different sites. I hope this part of our job will be done very soon because I miss beading very much. Converting our patterns to loom is a huge job even if it seems great fun. We have nearly 300 patterns to convert and make a PDF for the Loom Pattern, than upload them to all the sites we sell beading patterns. 

On etsy we have a separate Loom shop :

Our Artfire shop FDEkszer got a completely new look. Allan designed everything, I think it looks fantastic. He also started to upload the Loom patterns and will add some new everyday.

What's going on?

Well, we did not die, that's for sure :) We are just about to finish our fantastic new website www.fdekszer.com which will be (hopefully) live on 31st October. We will have specials, coupons and freebies too! I'll keep you updated, so you won't miss the Grand Opening :) 

Of course we still list (and will list) on Artfire (I have a 15% off sale here) and Etsy too, and here is the first winter pattern which is already listed on both site:

I'm setting up my Artfire shop

I've spent most of my day to finish the shop sections in my Artfire shop. I'm a seller there for about a year but went pro only now when they had the group deal. I think this was one of the best decision I made. :) Today I had my first sale since I'm pro. No surprise here, since I've changed Black Gold to Tarnished Nature this is one of my fellow beaders favourite pattern:

To be honest I'm still learning both sites but this whole social networking really seems like a fantastic opportunity for crafters and artists.

In the mean time my father-in-law is here from Scotland, and guess what, he doesn't speak Hungarian, so I'm a full time interpreter too :)

Tomorrow I will be out, we are going to visit one of the most fantastic cave in Hungary. Hope the weather stays sunny, I hate rain and clouds.

SALE IN MY ARTFIRE SHOP TOO :)

Okay, there was a surprisingly big interest about my Dawanda shop yesterday :)
Now, to be fair I'm going to run the same

15% sale in my Artfire shop too.

Right now I have over 80 patterns listed, and Allan lists 5-10 every day untill all of them are listed.

Of course the buy 2 and choose 1 for free offer is still running in both shop.

Got something done

Eventually I finished some of my tasks today. A new page was added - by me - to my website. I uploaded the first page of the Abstract & Geometric patterns, you can check it out here: http://fairysdreams-jewellery.co.uk/AbstractandGeometricpatterns.aspx
I even had time to upload patterns to Artfire, Dawanda and Shop Handmade. It is so great that there are so many fantastic crafter site out there. I remember 5 years ago I hardly find any site I could sell handmade jewellery...
So this was a very productive day and here comes the cherry on the cake:
