Thanks for all the nice words and the support we have got from all of our followers. We are happy to announce the big news, our website is live from now on. Please come, and have a look:

Now we are dotting the i's and crossing the t's... We are a few days behind but probably did the biggest challenge in our life: made our own shop in 10 days from scratch. Now that the shop is nearly done I can tell you this is one most satisfying thing I've ever experienced.

We are reviewing the uploaded products and we will be open within 24 hours. We would be very happy to receive comments on the shop, so don't be shy to share your opinion with us.

What's going on?

Well, we did not die, that's for sure :) We are just about to finish our fantastic new website www.fdekszer.com which will be (hopefully) live on 31st October. We will have specials, coupons and freebies too! I'll keep you updated, so you won't miss the Grand Opening :) 

Of course we still list (and will list) on Artfire (I have a 15% off sale here) and Etsy too, and here is the first winter pattern which is already listed on both site:

New blog desing, new pattern and same old me

Just a short post: As you probably noticed by now, I'm updating my blog including the design, the links and basically everything. I have many reasons to do so, enough for the next post :)

It should be done by tomorrow, hope you will like the new look.
I try to make it as reader friendly as possible, if you have any opinion or idea please leave a comment.

In the meantime, here is the newest pattern, she was born yesterday and not listed anywhere yet, so you are the first one to see. I think I'll call her Carnival.

I'm setting up my Artfire shop

I've spent most of my day to finish the shop sections in my Artfire shop. I'm a seller there for about a year but went pro only now when they had the group deal. I think this was one of the best decision I made. :) Today I had my first sale since I'm pro. No surprise here, since I've changed Black Gold to Tarnished Nature this is one of my fellow beaders favourite pattern:

To be honest I'm still learning both sites but this whole social networking really seems like a fantastic opportunity for crafters and artists.

In the mean time my father-in-law is here from Scotland, and guess what, he doesn't speak Hungarian, so I'm a full time interpreter too :)

Tomorrow I will be out, we are going to visit one of the most fantastic cave in Hungary. Hope the weather stays sunny, I hate rain and clouds.

THE GAME OF AUGUST

Just because we like it :)

You love the patterns and I love the fantastic comments you send me. Anyway probably by now everybody knows one thing about me: I love playing. I play with beads, colors, shapes and shades and now I play with you, beaders too. This is what happened so far:

Many of you already got a free pattern from me and hope you enjoyed beading it. (If you never got a pattern from me please read the 2. part of the game below)  I know some of you already finished the pattern as I've got many e-mails to check out the finished bracelets and they were amazing. It felt so fantastic to see them and some of them got completely new look too with different colour combinations. You girls are amazing! So just because I like to see how my patterns turn out and start their new life, here it is:

THE GAME OF AUGUST

1. Please post this game in your blog with the link to my blog, so other beaders can play it too :) You bead up the pattern you have got from me in July and send me photos to show me the finished piece. You also have to leave a comment to this post so I can follow who is playing :) I'll need your permission to use your photos to promote the patterns. If you changed any of the colours I'll also need the code of the ones you used.

I will name the beader every time I use a photo of a finished piece.

I'll also set up a gallery on my blog to show all the finished pieces with a link to the beader's gallery.

You can send the photos to

You are allowed to sell the finished piece wherever you want but you have to give credit to me as the designer of the pattern.

Hi girls, I know I'm very much not up-to-date but please forgive me I just had to deal way too much stuff in the last few weeks. Mainly goodies but they took lots of time from me. I'm in the middle of building our first home and in the mean time I have the most energetic 4-year-old angel behind / next to / on me most of the time.

I'm still alive...

I'm sorry not posting anything on the blog I'm just so busy since I've started this game. :)

In the last two weeks I've sent out more than 150 free patterns and I'm still not up to date. I'm sending out patterns every day, and apologize for any delay.

I've already come up with the idea of the new Game in August for free pattern and I can tell you one thing: start beading your free patterns, because you will need a "proof" :)

Tomorrow I'm going to start a fantastic game. I know it will be fantastic because I've already started it on my Hungarian blog and honestly I did not expect such a snowball effect - BUT I LOVE IT!
I'm going to explain the rules tomorrow, the point is that you can have one of my patterns listed on Etsy for FREE in every single month. Sounds good?

I know it seems ages since I last wrote. I have only one excuse, I was beading:

Two tone tree peyote cuff bracelet

I've finished the black and white version of my peyote design Two tone tree, hope I'll have time to take a picture today and upload it. To be honest I think this color combination is fantastic :)
However I didn't have time make new designs but I have plenty of older pattern I haven't uploaded yet. Here is two of them (of course one will be the Two tone tree)

I don't have much time to write and to be honest I don't even feel like writing. Too many things are going on -mainly good stuffs- and I feel I could sleep through a whole week... Anyway, I try to catch up with the pattern upload:

Busy weekend

My brother's girlfriend just moved to our family house and I'm truly happy for them :) Now there are 8 of us in a big house. Of course just temporarily as we are building our own house just next to my parent's house, on the same plot. To be honest I had so many things to do today I hardly found time to make new design. It's a simple one but hope you'll like it anyway :)

Finishing designs

I have a huge number of designs "in progress". Meaning: I started them some time ago and either never finished them or didn't like the result... So today I just went through all the designs and guess what: I managed to finish quite a few of them :) Here are those two I like the most:

Got something done

Eventually I finished some of my tasks today. A new page was added - by me - to my website. I uploaded the first page of the Abstract & Geometric patterns, you can check it out here: http://fairysdreams-jewellery.co.uk/AbstractandGeometricpatterns.aspx
I even had time to upload patterns to Artfire, Dawanda and Shop Handmade. It is so great that there are so many fantastic crafter site out there. I remember 5 years ago I hardly find any site I could sell handmade jewellery...
So this was a very productive day and here comes the cherry on the cake:

Just an other day - crap rainy one....

When I started my hungarian blog I was kind of worried that I'll write exactly the same things here that I write there so this blog won't be as interesting as the hungarian. But the thing is when I write in English it seems I use a different part of my mind. My thoghts are different in English than in Hungarian. Don't ask me why... Anyway, I realised I have to come up with a daily rutin asap because 24 hours never seems to be enough to finish (or start) everything I wanted. I had an other very busy day with horrible weather. It was raining all day - very unusal in Hungary this time of the year. I hate it. I spent most of the day inside yet it's nearly 11pm and I have not finished everything I planned for today. I made some new patterns /I always find time to do that but you should see our laundry room.../. I hope you'll like them:

I'm kind of busy in these days. I make new designs every day but sometimes just don't have time to upload them. I should come up with a daily routin....

Okay here are yesterday's and today's patterns. I just try to keep it simple. They only use a couple of colors :)

Art deco and geometry

I'm kind of hooked. I think I made too much flower design. Allan agreed I think he started to have trouble with the names. (This is how my lily *BP100* ended up with "lunatic" in it's name...) I'm sure he'll be happy not to see any more lily, pansy and other plants and flowers. At least for a while :) Now I'm into geometry, symetric stuffs, art deco etc. I love it. I hope you will too...

The 100th design and the first sale

Today I've finished the 100th peyote bracelet design. Of course I have a lot "in progress" but I'll only count those when they are done. Incredible how much time I can spend playing around with the colors... Sometimes I got them right in a couple of minutes but I have some design I've finished a month ago but not happy with the Whole Picture.
And here is an other special number: I had my FIRST sale from my website. This feels so fantastic! Not just because I'm happy that someone actually found my site which is only live for a few days but the fact that I made the site. I got some help from Allan but other than that designed, built and finished the whole thing alone. I only just started to upload the patterns. Now I've got all the floral patterns uploaded and started the Abstract and Geometric patterns.

And here is the 100th pattern:It's not listed yet anywhere, will be in a couple of days.

One more thing

I just started my Hungarian blog. You can check it out here. I do not ask you to read it unless you speak the language :) But the pics can be interesting even if you don't understand my posts and you can leave comments too (I mean about the pictures)

Life is back to normal again

Allan's family arrived home safely. So my life is back to normal again. Meaning: work, work and more work. Of course I love it :) The good thing is that my work is also my hobby, my passion. I have many new designs now however I had no time to list them on Etsy or Beadcoop yet. But I'm on it. Promise.

I noticed I tend to have "color-periods". I mean sometimes I'm so much into a color that I make several designs using the same shades. I had orange days last week, check them out:
